Starting out from humble beginnings in 1989 The College of Animal Welfare was originally established by a leading animal welfare charity in Cambridgeshire. Since then the College has become independently managed and has 4 centres throughout the UK. The purpose is to offer world class provision, based on the fundamental values of Animal Welfare.

The College of Animal Welfare is a modern provider of education in animal welfare. Awarded by City & Guilds and VetSkill Ltd all our courses are widely recognised by many businesses and organisations around the world as evidence of a good quality education.

To be able to achieve our goals of improving standards and creating access opportunities we have selected to work in partnership with several prestigious universities within the UK.

Edinburgh Napier University is the College’s partner in Scotland’s first and Veterinary Nursing degree.

Middlesex University is a British University based in London. Middlesex University jointly developed, deliver and assess the BSc Honours Veterinary Nursing Degree programme in conjunction with The College of Animal Welfare.

The Royal Veterinary College is the UK’s largest veterinary school and is one of the College’s longest standing partners.
